“Be back in a bit BC.” Ein Quin called out to his new cat roommate as he stepped out for a walk. He waited for a second to hear a reply, BC meowed faintly, and Ein closed the door.
Ein had been unemployed, and now that he had another mouth to feed, he should probably find a job. He continued his quest to walk up and down every road of Beacon, hoping some inspiration will come to him.
His mind wandered as he thought of career paths. He enjoyed being a driver for a few weeks. But how would he ingratiate himself into another millionaire? Maybe he could track down Jon Fall and demand to be his driver.
He turned the corner to an unexpected sight. Masked gunmen ran out of a bank and into a getaway car. The car peeled off and narrowly avoided him. Before he could register what happened, cop cars blew past him. So there were opportunities in the city for precision driving after all.
The rest of the way home, he wondered which side of the law he should drive for. When he got back, he found the door open and BC missing.
